29/05/2012 - Sleepily written

I've thought this yesterday, but my note was really curt...wasn't it? Well, for that I do have to apologise; I was just really, really tired yesterday, and I am today, too, but at least I'm not in as bad a mood as yesterday.

28/05/2012 - Literature Reviews: Source of Hellish Irritation

I don't exactly understand why, but no researcher seems to want to experiment on effects of microwaved water, or even the change in mineral salt composition/percentage or stuff like that. Most of the microwave experiments have to do with weird things that I have no idea what they are.

In short, I can't find a suitable paper to quote for my literature review.

27/05/2012 - And some problems are resolved...while others popped up...

It seems finalised.

I'm really, really going to be planting the Chinese cabbage.

Today, I bought 4 sponges and a packet of Chinese cabbage seeds, after scouring NTUC for roughly half an hour and finally finding it in the gardening section. On the seed packet, there were some instructions on how to plant Chinese cabbage, so I'm going to go with that.

26/05/2012 - The Chinese Cabbage

Initially I planned to read up on microwaves and the Chinese cabbage, and when Sports Fest was over, headed straight to the Lot 1 Library, since it was one of the few libraries I was familiar with.

The thing was, while there was a whole section on gardening and whatnot, I couldn't really find much on microwaves. I was quite certain there should be several books scattered about, but whether it was my luck (which similarly affected my search for Chinese books for my Chinese homework, but that's another story), or whether the library was simply lacking, I didn't know.

21/05/2012 - SIP Consultation

Today, I consulted with Miss Tan on my research question.

I felt a bit awkward, but nevertheless bravely continued, so I would like to think. And I was not very amused - although quite a bit relieved that the consultation was held before I started on my experiment - to find out that there were so many problems and flaws with my experiment.

17/05/2012 - SIP Proposal (and Heartfelt Gratitude)

As mentioned in my previous post, a news article wrote on the effects of microwaved water on plants. I wanted to find out, which material best stops these effects, or whether the duration affects the speed of which the plant dies and how the duration affects it.

17/05/2012 - Project Ideas II

RGS girls are known for their defining characteristic - "procrastinating". I'm not as bad as some of my classmates, I know, but still, I completely put off thinking about what to do until the day before the SIP Proposal deadline.

This either shows I'm terribly lazy, or I'm terribly busy. I hope it's both, so that I can give more  excuses...*ahem ahem*, reasons to myself, but that wouldn't work because both reasons are so terribly contradictory.

14/05/2012 - Project Ideas

Originally, I have promised myself to create a list of experiments which I can embark on, where the results can be used to support claims made in my group's RS proposal. Thinking about it is all fine and well, but actually trying to form experiments based on the claims made on the group's RS proposal gives a major headache to anyone willing to try it.
