Well, today, I had to find out the optimum watering time and amount for the Chinese cabbage. While I didn't get an exact answer, I did learn that I have to water 1-2 inches (that's about 2.54-5.08cm) of water once every week, preferably at the base of the cabbage plant, and also that my watering time should be limited only to before 11am or after 4pm. But the cabbage plant should be dry enough before the sun sets, to minimise the possibility of fungi and disease.
Thinking through my schedule, I can almost sigh in relief all my CCA practices and whatnot are not going to be hindering my experiment. Originally I was worried I had to water daily, because watering daily would mean a fixed time, and I really doubt that since my CCA practices could be as long as from 9am in the morning to 5pm in the evening (but that's later in the holidays, for concert rehearsals). But now that I know I need only to water once a week, I can just water every time I go for my piano lesson.
Yup, I don't think I ever told you, but I found a microwave in my piano teacher's house. She has also agreed to let me conduct an experiment there, except that she has to be there to ensure I don't blow up her kitchen. I told her I probably won't, since I specifically read up on how to microwave water without them exploding.
Well, if anything happens, I still have my piano teacher.
In any case, today I finally remembered to read up on boiling, and read up on it I did. Boiling...was a process that I was certain I knew, but after reading some websites I realised that what I knew was just a surface understanding of boiling. Well, seeing that in boiling there would be bubbling, it would be natural enough for bubbling to occur during microwaving as well, to try and ensure conformity to the best of my ability.
Hmm...that is all for now. Ok, good night, then!
